The most trusted name in Precision Milling & Engraving Technology

It is primarily intended for use as a jig boring, machine for Drilling, Boring of jigs and fixtures of Class II accuracies. The machine is guaranteed to give centre distance of 0.01 mm and bores to class 7 tolerances. Machine can also perform light milling jobs.

 Features:
• Heavily ribbed close grained cast iron base, column and work table assembly.
• Motorised coarse movement for spindle head.
• Spindle made of nickel chrome steel, case hardened, stabilized and ground to close tolerances, running in high    precision bearings.
• Guaranteed spindle run out of 5 microns at the spindle nose (ISO 30 / R8)
• Advantage of a turret head which can be swiveled upto 45o either side.
• Indirect clamping of X & Y axes movement

Advantages of GR-25 over RAM Turret Milling Machine (RTM)

All linear movements on hardened and ground guideways with turcite lining unlike in RTM machine where cast iron guideways are used.
• Smooth and accurate movements.
• Less co-efficient of friction
• Less wear and tear.

The table of 600 x 400 (ideal size for most of the tool rooms) is fully supported over the entire movement, unlike in RTM machines where the table overhangs.
• Better accuracies
• Better stability

Infinitely variable spindle drive though a 3HP AC induction Motor.
ISO 30/ R8 spindle taper suitable for milling operations. Rapid traverse to spindle head through a motor as against the hand operated knee movement in RTM machine.
• Saves enormous time in bringing the job near the tool
• Quick retraction of tool for inspection
• Reduces operator fatigue – no need to crank the heavy knee every time.

Machine has been designed for easy conversion to CNC machine unlike in RTM machine.
• Turcite lining on hardened and ground guideways similar to a Machining Centre.
• Easy retrofitting either a single axis for vertical movement, or with two / three axis CNC to covert the machine into a full fledged CNC    machine.
• Initial investment is low – machine can be upgraded to CNC as and when required.

Machine much sturdier and heavier than RTM machine.
• More rigid and accurate
• Less vibration and noise
• Ergonomically designed to assist the operator
• Both X & Y hand wheels are located on the front of the machine for better ergonomy.
